How do I order?
We work in a custom world and like to work directly with you in the development and ordering process. Send us an email or give us a call.
How long do artboards take?
Typically three to five days. For larger projects, please call your Merchandiser to discuss.
What are the lead times once artwork is approved?
Upon sample approval and order placement, we can move straight into production. Production typically takes 4-6 weeks. Once production is complete and product ships, transit lead-times range from 1-8 weeks depending on the country of origin and preferred shipment method.
Can I order one hat or maybe just a few?
Unfortunately, we do not offer the option to buy one or a few hats. For fully custom caps, our minimum is 288 pieces. We also offer our capsdirectNOW with minimums of 144 pcs.
What are the setup/design fees?
Artboards and most samples are no charge. For specialty applications, such as silicone applique, liquid metal, embossed patch, or metal badge a mould fee may apply. The fee will vary depending on decoration method, size and intricacy of design.
Do you ship to other countries?
Please contact us with shipping needs outside of the continental USA.
What cap sizes do you offer?
We offer adjustable and stretch fit caps. Most adjustable caps are produced in size 57 cm or 58 cm. Check our standard size chart for more details.
Can I change or correct my order?
Once an order is in production, product changes can no longer be made.
When can I expect an invoice?
Invoices are typically sent within 24 hours of delivery. For any invoice concerns, please reach out to your Merchandiser.
Can I order a hat from Caps Direct if I’m the consumer?
We work exclusively with distributors and retailers. We are happy to put you in touch with a local distributor who can provide you with a detailed quote, answer your questions, and place your order.
What licensed camo patterns do you offer?
We offer a variety of licensed camo patterns by Realtree, Mossy Oak, and NextCamo.
Our Realtree patterns include Xtra, Edge, Max-4, Max-5 and Wav3. In Mossy Oak we offer Break-Up Country, Bottomland and Shadow Grass Blades. NextCamo is available in Bonz pattern.
What kind of artwork is needed?
Vector artwork in .ai, .pdf or .eps is preferred.
Do you have any domestic production options?
We do not currently offer any domestic production options for custom headwear. We do offer a domestic option for face masks.
In what countries do you manufacture?
We have production options in China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Myanmar.
Do you stock blank headwear?
We do not stock any blank headwear. We would be happy to recommend a blank supplier if you don't already have one.
